About This Project

The Aeropuerto Internacional Región de Murcia (AIRM) is a new, privately-managed airport located in the municipality of Murcia, Spain. Work started in 2008 and was completed in early 2012. It can handle 3 million passengers per year or 23,000 movements.

 

GHESA participated in the drafting of the Project, including not only all of the facilities for the new passenger terminal, but also the complete design of several buildings that are part of the Airport, including the following: Control Tower and Annex Building, Power Plant, Emissions Centre, Cargo Terminal, Fire Fighting Building and the building for the Murcia Regional Government (CARM).
