About This Project

The Alicante-Elche airport ranks sixth in the Spanish airport network by number of passengers, and is one of the 50 busiest in Europe.

 

The expansion project which saw GHESA’s participation involved the design of a new 290,000 m2 New Terminal Area; 12.3 Mpax; and 7,100 pdh, a side boarding pier (connected to the existing terminal building), the renovation of the existing terminal, a new car park building and all the associated facility buildings and accesses.
